Holiday Family Fun
Head to Ramsey County Library over the holiday break for lots of family fun! The following art and cultural programs are made possible by the Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment. All programs are appropriate for children ages 5 to 12 and their families. Contact the hosting library for more information.
Come and draw "oodles of doodles" with the White Bear Center for the Arts. This workshop will get your creative juices flowing with new ideas and techniques.
Make your very own piece of art with fabulous, funky materials from ArtStart's ArtScraps Materials Reuse Center. Explore unusual materials and apply your own imaginative touches with well-designed art projects and activities that spark the imagination.
Zoomobile naturalists use live animals along with biological artifacts and audience participation to make each program dynamic, personable, memorable and fun. Some of the animals you might meet include a great horned owl, boa constrictor, opossum, tarantula and bugs from the rainforest!
This program is sponsored by MELSA, highlighting the Museum Adventure Pass program.
Construct a brilliant star-shaped petal fold book and fill the pages with your own poems capturing the sights and sounds of the season. Use your book as a hanging decoration, ornament or gift! Featuring instructors from Minnesota Center for Book Arts and the Loft.
PAWS to READ
